Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains how refund requests are handled for Ruminer, including Ruminer Pro subscriptions and paid workflow automation features.
Ruminer is a digital software service. Access is delivered electronically, and paid features may begin working as soon as your subscription is activated.
Overview
We want Ruminer to be useful and reliable for browser-based AI memory and workflow automation. If something goes wrong with billing or access, contact us and we will review the issue in good faith.
This policy applies to purchases made directly through Ruminer checkout or billing flows. If you purchased through a third-party marketplace or payment provider, that provider may have separate refund rules.
Subscription Billing
Ruminer Pro is billed as a recurring subscription unless otherwise stated at checkout. You are responsible for canceling before the next renewal date if you do not want to continue the subscription.
Canceling a subscription stops future renewals. Unless required by law or approved under this policy, canceling does not automatically refund the current billing period.
When Refunds May Be Available
Refunds may be considered in the following situations:
- Duplicate charges or clear billing errors.
- A subscription was purchased but paid Ruminer Pro access was not activated after reasonable troubleshooting.
- A severe service issue prevented meaningful use of paid workflow features during the relevant billing period.
- You contacted us promptly after an accidental purchase or renewal and have not substantially used paid workflow features during that billing period.
- A refund is required by applicable law.
When Refunds Are Usually Not Available
Refunds are usually not available for:
- Partial use of a subscription period after Ruminer Pro access was available.
- Unused time when you forgot to cancel before renewal.
- Issues caused by unsupported browsers, disabled extension permissions, local device configuration, third-party AI services, or network restrictions outside Ruminer control.
- Requests based only on a change of mind after substantial use of paid workflow features.
- Purchases made through third-party channels where the third party controls refunds.
Trials, Promotions, and Discounts
Free trials, promotional offers, coupons, and discounts may have specific terms shown at checkout or in the offer details. Unless those terms say otherwise, refunds are calculated from the actual amount paid after discounts.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email poetry.coder@gmail.com with the email address used for your Ruminer account, the approximate purchase or renewal date, the billing amount, and a short description of the issue.
We may ask for additional information needed to locate the transaction, confirm account ownership, or troubleshoot access before deciding the request.
Processing Time
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when possible. Processing time depends on the payment provider and your financial institution. Access to paid features may be removed after a refund is issued.
Chargebacks
If you believe there is a billing problem, contact us first so we can investigate. Chargebacks may cause account or billing access to be suspended while the payment provider reviews the dispute.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Ruminer after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
